The Briarwood began operations in the Fall of 1995.

What started out as a business on the family farm, moved on to going to local shows and festivals. We then began renting space inside stores to put our merchandise in. For 5 years, this is how we operated and grew.

In late 1999, we bought our building which is still our current location, and opened on May 1, 2000. It didn’t take long to give up all our space in the other stores, and by 2007 we had stopped doing our last show which was the Covered Bridge Festival.

We have been fortunate to grow our business in a small town, and look forward to the future!
